Office Aiyara Planet
Location : Nakniwat Rd. Bangkok Thailand
Year : 2023
This office building has an approximate area of 1000 square meters. It will be divided into an existing building and a new building. The existing building will utilize the original structure, modifying both the interior and exterior to align with the concept. The new building will be connected to the rear of the existing building and will be entirely newly constructed. We have the opportunity to work on the interior design and construction for both the existing and new buildings.
The design concept aims to elevate the brand Aiyara Planet, making it feel luxurious and homely, similar to a house. However, the existing corporate identity (CI) of the organization will be retained to ensure that Aiyara Planet customers can still recognize the brand. This leads to the concept of “Trendy & Luxury.” The CI colors, which were previously 70% green, 15% white, and 15% yellow, have been modified to align with the new concept, now consisting of 70% white, 15% green, and 15% yellow with a touch of gold. Within each area, hidden feng shui elements are incorporated into the design, creating a blend between design and feng shui principles.
The entire project will consist of six floors. The first floor of the front building is designed to be the customer reception area. This area is designed to be the most luxurious to create a strong first impression for visitors. The ceiling is designed to resemble a mirrored surface to give a spacious and open feel. The predominant color is white, complemented by stainless steel with a touch of gold instead of the organization’s original yellow from the corporate identity (CI). Some green accents are incorporated to represent Aiyara Planet. The furniture and carpets used in this area are derived from the elements of the organization, adding playful touches to the reception space.
As for the first floor of the rear building, it will be a large seminar room capable of accommodating up to 70 people. The decor for this room focuses on creamy white to maintain continuity from the front building. However, the lighting can change colors to match the seminar’s theme, or it can turn green, aligning with the organization’s branding.
On the second floor of the front building, we have created a multifunctional space, which serves as a meeting room and a café. Visitors can enjoy coffee and other beverages, and the organization has provided the basic facilities for this purpose. The primary focus of this floor’s design is to make it feel as much like home as possible, creating a warm and comforting atmosphere. Since the ceiling height on this floor is limited, we have designed the ceiling to resemble a mirrored surface, maintaining continuity from the first floor. In cases of dense customer traffic, it doesn’t make the ceiling of the original building seem imposing.
In this area, we continue to use stainless steel with a touch of gold from the first floor, but we have reduced the percentage used and incorporated yellow to avoid an excessively luxurious appearance. The furniture chosen for this area is made of wood and upholstered in fabric to create a more relaxed atmosphere than the first floor. Elements from the organization are integrated into the furniture design.
Moving to the second floor of the rear building, this space is designed to be a versatile area suitable for online classes and live streaming sessions.
Starting from the third floor and onwards, customers of the organization will not have access. These upper floors are dedicated to internal staff members. On the third floor of the front building, you’ll find the marketing team’s workspace. This area is designed to be fun and dynamic, where employees can work flexibly, without the need for fixed desks. There are lockers available for storing personal belongings, and small soundproof meeting rooms for brief discussions. The brainstorming room is not your typical meeting room; it’s intended to be versatile, allowing employees to sit or use the space in various ways, fostering a stress-free environment that encourages creativity during meetings.
On the third floor of the rear building, we have designated it as the “Chat Online” area. This space serves customer post-sales services and facilitates coordination for various matters.
On the fourth floor of the front building, this area will be dedicated to the management team. There will be a glass-walled conference room located in the center of the room for the team’s meetings. To ensure a sense of spaciousness and openness, the ceiling will be designed with uniform white lighting. This design creates a sense of brightness throughout the ceiling, preventing the room from feeling narrow.
In the rear building, the fourth floor is designated for the accounting department. Given the substantial amount of paperwork involved, the space has been designed with a focus on document storage. It features full-height document storage units along both walls, and the ceiling will be raised as high as possible to maximize space usage.
The fifth floor will serve as the executive area for all top-level management. It will include a conference room for discussing business matters or hosting formal meetings. The design of this floor primarily features a white color palette, emphasizing simplicity for productive meetings. In the flooring, a green pattern has been integrated into the carpet to add a touch of vibrancy within the woven fabric.
The sixth floor, being the topmost level of the building, offers panoramic views of the cityscape. However, it has been designated as a cafeteria area for employees, providing them with a space for relaxation and unwinding. Large windows on both sides offer abundant natural light and a sense of openness. The furniture in this area features vibrant colors to create a stress-free environment.
The final room on this floor is a sacred space intended for meditation and religious ceremonies. It’s designed to be simple, tranquil, and suitable for meditation, offering the organization a sacred place for spiritual practices.
Overall, the entire project has been thoughtfully designed to ensure optimal functionality and user satisfaction.
